The idea behind AskIt

About a year and a half ago, we noticed something simple. Talented students had real skills to offer. Young, growing businesses needed that talent, but couldn't yet afford full-time hires, and had no way to know who they could trust.

This gap already existed. We weren't trying to create a new market, we were trying to make an existing one work better. The same way Uber didn't invent taxis, it made getting one more reliable, more structured, and more convenient. That's what we're building for student talent and growing businesses.

AskIt exists to make that connection dependable, verified on one side, valuable on the other.

We review every portfolio by hand and confirm each student's identity, college and experience before they can be recommended. Nothing is automated, and nothing is listed publicly.

Pricing is agreed between you and the student, guided by fair benchmarks we share for each category. There are no hidden fees or forced packages.

Yes. You can speak with any shortlisted student before committing, so you're confident in the fit before work begins.

Tell us and we'll step in personally and re-match you with another verified student at no extra matching cost. Secure payments mean funds are only released once you're satisfied.
